Where to Donate and Clean out Your Storage

A man loading boxes into a pickup truck.

Donating your unused and unwanted items is far more rewarding than storing them or throwing them away. When you donate items, you have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping others and/or the environment. There are organizations that operate on an international basis, as well as those within your community, that will accept donations and put them to good use. Adult, children, and infants’ clothing, toys, electronics, furniture, and vehicles can be donated to reputable charities. By donating items, you can rest assured knowing that your items are getting a second lease on life and that you are helping others in their time of need.

If you still need space after donating everything that you no longer need, consider getting a detached garage, metal shed, steel building, or carport to get the space that you need.
